As a psychologist specializing in psychotherapy, I am committed to providing high quality and effective services to adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I treat a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, eating disorders, grief and loss, trauma, and coming-out issues.
The process of psychotherapy is not easy to describe. It varies depending on the personalities of the therapist and the client, and the particular issues being addressed. It can be challenging, scary, rewarding, and lead to life-long positive change. So it is important that you trust the therapist you choose, and feel like they understand and really “get” you.
With this in mind, my approach to therapy is highly individualized and tailored to meet the specialized needs of each client. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, flexible process designed to meet your goals. From the beginning, we will work together to form a plan that gets you where you want to go. Whether it is changing a specific habit, improving your relationships, or gaining more self-awareness and understanding, my goal is to help you take charge of your own life and make changes on your terms.
