Education & Training
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Washington and earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. As a clinical psychologist, I am qualified to work with people who have a specific problem they would like help with, those with complex issues, or more severe mental illnesses. I completed my internship at the University of Puget Sound where I received intensive training in working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of issues. My training included special emphasis on eating disorders, trauma recovery, and coming-out issues. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am licensed by the State of Washington, and am a member of the American Psychological Association.
About the Practice
Therapy is a process that requires both emotional and financial commitment. Making the decision can be daunting, but I am committed to keeping the process as stress-free as possible. That is why the cost per session will not increase once we begin working together. You don’t have to worry about annual increases or sudden changes to your budget. You also have to option to pay for sessions on your own, or I am happy to bill all major insurance carriers on your behalf. I am also an in network provider for Regence, First Choice, Premera, and LifeWise plans of Washington.
